MUSIC CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY (CCA)
17.10.22 to 18.10.22
The Music CCA Competitions were conducted to bring to light the songsters in each class by our music faculty Ms. Rashmi M Galagali, who has always been implanting the expertise of Raga, Tala and Bhava among the students.
Students from class 1 to 7 were given different genre of Indian songs such as Bhavageethe, Devaranama etc. The students were assessed by considering the melody, rhythm, and tone as the main criteria. Three winners were selected from each class who would be awarded during the annual day celebrations. Overall, the event created a great stage for all the students to present their singing skills.

Co-curricular activities take what students are learning in the classroom and build upon that through talent shows, performances, competitions, clubs and additional classroom work.
Every activity in school life, be it inside the classroom or in the playground, plays a significant role in the development of students. Co-curricular activities are an essential part of school life and help in enhancing the learning process of students at school. These activities are designed and balanced with the academic curriculum so that every student gets to learn beyond subjects.
At JSS Public School, CCA is given atmost importance, specially the ENGLISH CCA is a shot in the arm with too many activities bustling and children roused with excitement gearing up for the top spot , vying with each other to reach the pinnacle of glory. It was no different with children of grade 9 and grade 10. The activity given for class 9 was to frame “Title and Summary to the Given Poem”. The activity for class 10 was “Composing a Poem for the given Topic”. It was a treat for the judges feasting on the creative abilities of the children. Judges had a tough time declaring the winners.,
ART CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY (CCA)
02.08.22 to 03.08.22
The Art CCA Competitions were conducted to ignite the spirit of competitiveness amongst the students by the fine art faculty, Mr. M.M Surpurmath who has always been instilling the skill of creativity among the children.
Students from class 6-10 were given various forms of art topics. The event unwrapped bountiful aesthetically pleasing artworks which truly was a feast for the eyes. The pieces were assessed by considering its presentation, neatness and creativity as the main criteria. Three winners were selected from each class who would be awarded during the annual day celebrations. Overall the event created a wonderful stage for all the students to showcase their talents.
“Computers—Transforming society and shaping the future”
The Co-Curricular activities of the Computer club for classes I to X STD was conducted from October 28th 2022 to November 10th 2022 . Wide range of activities were conducted starting from the basics of Computer, Working of a computer, to writing algorithm and drawing flow charts, Puzzle, Quiz on IT,PPT .
All the students took part in all the activities enthusiastically. The requirements for doing these activities were informed well ahead so that the students could come prepared. For classes 9 and 7 had group activity while other classes had individual activities. All the activities brought out the Technical Skills of the students and increased their curiosity to learn more.
