We are delighted to share a proud moment for our school. Mrs Gowri B Nataraja, Principal, JSS PUBLIC SCHOOL BANASHANKARI has been honored with the prestigious Dronacharya Award by BMS Academy on 18th September 2026, in recognition of Excellence in Education.

This honor is a reflection of the collective efforts of our Management, teachers, parents and dear students, whose continued support and dedication contribute to the excellence of our institution.

We sincerely thank all our parents for their constant encouragement and support. This achievement inspires us to continue our journey towards excellence in education.

JSS Public School is located in Bananshankari II stage, Bangalore and follows the CBSE pattern of education. Presently around 1635 students are studying from classes 1 to 10. It was established in the year 1995 by the JSS Mahaviyapeeta. The school comprises of spacious classrooms, Laboratories of Science, Mathematics, Language and Audio Visual which helps in the retention of concepts taught. An acoustic auditorium also forms part of the school. Classes generally have an average of 35 to 40 children and it is a co-educational set up. The school offers a curriculum in accordance to the CBSE guidelines thereby enabling young children to think critically and equipping them with problem solving skills.

We are proud to be a branch of Big Banyan tree – JSS MAHAVIDYAPEETHA, MYSORE – ABODE OF HUMAN VALUES. I am thankful to His Holiness Jagadguru Sri. Sri. Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji and all the office bearers of JSSMVP for giving us the opportunity to mould 1688 beautiful buds into fragrant flowers filled with values.
