INDEPENDENCE DAY REPORT-2021-22

“Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living”? –M.K.Gandhi

Independence day is celebrated with great zeal on 15th August every year. On this day in the year 1947, India became independent from the British colonial rule. This day we celebrate by unfurling the flag, singing the national anthem, remembering our freedom fighters etc. This celebration—which is very grand often, wakes up the people with patriotism and understands the struggle of freedom fighters to our younger generations. On this auspicious day, our honourable Prime Minister unfurls the flag at the historic Red Fort in New Delhi and people recite the National Anthem. Most importantly, he commemorates and remembers all freedom fighters due to whose struggle, made us independent and our country became an independent nation.

At JSS, celebrations like independence day are being performed with gait and nationalistic fervour—This year too was no exception though, it was celebrated virtually. The tricolour was hoisted by the main dignitary—Our Principal Madam, followed by the rendering of the national anthem. A melodious number invocating the supreme Almighty was recited by Lochan M of 6B, followed by a patriotic bliss, which was sung by Dhanyata of 10c. The Welcome address was delivered by Shubhangi of 10 A and to signify the glorious day, Miss Charvi of 10 B with her stunning speech in English, added fuel to the fire. Our Principal Madam highlighted the Glimpses of all the activities conducted in the school. On could keenly observe the vigour of the children and the teachers as they had participated in many activities. Another patriotic melody was recited by the upcoming budding talent of 7B Miss. Dhanvika Reddy which was cherished by many. The significance of the day, was pinpointed by a good speech in Kannada by Ms.Anavi of 10 C. The star attraction of the day was a graceful yoga display highlighting physical fitness activated by yoga madam Mrs.Krishna Veni and group… It was a pleasure watching it.
